In the meantime I can look back on two years as a freelance consultant in the AV- industry.
I have developed further. My company was able to establish itself in the industry and developed very well. The market has changed rapidly. Every day a new and exciting challenge and not just for me. I support my partners on the topic of „connecting people“. A wonderful and very interesting task.
With a wide-ranging and well-functioning network and corresponding reputation in the AV industry (audio, video, media technology in a professional environment) and more than 25 years of professional experience in this environment, I stand with my network, my expertise and my experience as sales manager and business development Manager partners as consultants who need support in sales, business development, brand management, marketing and personnel issues.
Soon after my apprenticeship as a radio and television technician, I founded my own company and, as a specialist dealer (EP: Klukas), I primarily advised end customers in the areas of mobile communications, consumer electronics, hi-end hi-fi and PC / multimedia. SMEs were among my customers when it came to PC, server and network technology. Event technology was also a mainstay.
Then I switched to an employee relationship, first as a key account manager and later as a division manager at ICT AG. There I built up the permanent installation area. At SDI in Munich, I was able to get to know the planner business and distribution. Together with my team, I launched new products on the market and, for example, brought digital cinema and digital signage forward with my colleagues. As a further career step, AMX has introduced me deeply into media technology, control automation and signal management. Here, my main tasks were brand management and business development. At AMX, I mainly dealt with planning and project work with end customers, which was also my job at Crestron until I switched to Shure, where I, as Director of the System Group, was able to fulfill a wonderful job with a highly motivated team of experts in the audio field. My last job in the employment relationship was with Absen GmbH as Business Development Manager in the area of permanent installation of LED solutions.
This experience and my technical knowledge, ambition and passion were at the foundation and are still the basis for my company. My extensive network the tool. Fortunately, our industry is still characterized by „people business“ and that’s a good thing.
I worked as a system integrator, got to know planning work, and was able to carry out great tasks at the manufacturer in the areas of media technology, video and audio in middle management. Despite all the sales work and business development, I still know which side of the soldering iron is hot 😉
